8th "INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA" - THANJAVUR
The 8th International Day of Yoga which was organised by the Govt. of India was celebrated by more than 250 of our college staff and students who are seen in the above photo with utmost enthusiasm in the background of the Living Big Chola Temple in Thanjavur. The Union Minister of Sate for Education Smt. Annapoorna Devi was the chief guest and was attended by several dignitaries including the Collector of Thanjavur as well as the Prince of Thanjavur.
